Art InconnuThe Underrated Art

Cookies & Data

Cookie Privacy Policy

Art Inconnu is committed to protecting your privacy online. Here is what we collect, why, and how cookies fit into that.

This site exists to share a love of art, not to harvest data about you. It is run by one person, and it keeps things as simple as it can.

At a glance

  • We only collect what you volunteer — a name or email address, if you leave a comment or write to us.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone.
  • You can browse the great majority of this site without giving any personal details at all.
  • Cookies here do little more than help pages work and show us, in aggregate, which articles are read most.

What information we collect

We collect information from you when you visit this site. If you submit a comment or write to us directly, you may be asked to enter your name or email address — nothing more. You are always welcome to browse anonymously.

What we use your information for

Any information you give us may be used to improve the website, and to improve the service and answers we can offer you. It is never used for anything beyond that.

How we protect your information

We implement reasonable, standard security measures to help keep your personal information safe whenever you submit, enter, or otherwise share it with us.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a site transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser, when you allow it, so that the site can recognise your browser on a later visit and remember certain preferences. We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits, and to see, in aggregate, which articles are read most.

Scope of this policy

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through this website, and not to information collected offline.

Changes to this policy

If we decide to change this policy, the changes will be posted on this page.
